“The power of death to sin rests entirely in the Spirit. Such is the extent of freedom, such is the gift of LIFE...through the Spirit of Christ!” —Martha Kilpatrick (Manna, 04/27/06)

Shulamite Ministries

Who we are:

We are ordinary sheep following an extraordinary Shepherd by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

“Tell me you whom my soul loves
    where you pasture your flocks?”
1:7

Why we are:

We are a group of believers, called together for many years by the Beloved for His unfolding purpose.

We have been held and bound by love for one another and a common aim: we live to love the Lord above all, to know Christ in His cross (Phil. 3).   We want to live His life and manifest His glory (Gal. 2:22).  We long to make Him known wherever our Abba sends us (Matt. 28:18-20).

“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”
6:3

How we live:

In the mundane we live working, gardening, rejoicing, often as a body, much of it alone.

In transparent relationships, we in this ministry work, pray, travel, tend home fires, sometimes together, sometimes alone.

“My beloved has gone down to his garden,
to the beds of spices, and to gather lilies.”

6:2

What we do:

This small group of believers reaches out to the world through missions in three nations, to God’s children in many places. Through conference, books, writings and the internet, we cannot know where our message lands or who the Spirit touches.

So really, we are a mystery, a secret in God’s heart . . .

“Come, my beloved, let us go out into the fields
    and lodge in the villages…
There I will give you my Love.”

7:11,12b

(Scriptures from Song of Solomon)
