The Blood is the end of guilt, not just sin. The Holy Spirit is present where the Blood is received and it is He who imparts the Life of Christ as we believe in the power of the Blood. I can have nothing of Christ apart from the Blood. The fellowship of believers is kept alive by partaking of the Blood of Christ.
The Shulamite prayer meeting continues as we realize fully that "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin." The Blood of Christ was shed not only for complete forgiveness of sin but also for the cleansing of our conscience so that we can live in freedom from guilt.
Coming together to share the celebration of Christ's sacrifice is a serious matter with ultimate consequences. We at Shulamite Ministries share a Body life of transparent repentance as we come to the communion table. We open this recent meeting to our listeners in the hope that the Blood of Christ may be fully powerful in your lives.
By its very nature, the New Creation is heavenly minded. Paul illustrates this by saying 'we look at the unseen.' This New Creation has an entirely individual identity, every member of the Body of Christ, a unique expression of God. By contrast, the old nature is the same in all humanity. We can only imitate when we have no 'self.'
To be fully in your 'new man' you first find that you are nothing in the 'old'. The New Creation manifests and represents Christ. We need each other to be in Christ so that we can see Him in fullness. We are 'individually' members of the Body of Christ. The group looks at both sides of the old man: effort or rebellion.
