All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing.
But He does according to His will in the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of earth;
And no one can ward off His hand
or say to Him, “What have you done?”

Daniel 4:35

To truly meet God as God is to see – by contrast to Him - all humanity in its equal state of complete insignificance. No one lower than another and no one higher, no matter what the position. Before God we are all but dust. All nothing.

That is not a day of despair but liberty. Release from Self and liberty from Others. This alone is humility and it is joy, pure joy!

I am nothing and you also are nothing,
but the wonder is, we are God’s!
