The price is too high and too costly.  Outer darkness is a choice.  Though the path is laid with excuses for self and allegations against God, the end is darkness!   God allows claims to be brought against Him from His own creation.  Our foolishness plays out, yet all the while He gives evidence to the contrary.  God is good, but more than that, He is GOD.  This is His creation.  We are His property.  He makes all the rules.  So thank God He is GOOD!  What if He was the manifestation of our accusations of Him, who we believed Him to be?  God forbid!

Yielding to Him as God, because we are His creation and He is God, is our place of safety.  In surrender, His expressions of love, understanding, mercy and goodness shower us.    Life will affect us, hurt us and even cause us suffering, but in this surrender we will be carried through and He will comfort.  We will finally have the grace needed to walk in our life.  Where every offense was exacerbated and unbearable, now perspective will be given.   When He is allowed to be God in our life, He will be God.  God desires to be good to us as He defines it.  Believe me, His definition will ALWAYS outshine our paltry demands.
