God is good.  In all His ways, He is good.  In all His dealings, He is good.  With or without my consent or understanding, God is good.  As I face trials and tribulations, God is good.  I can’t give a mandate to God that I will only surrender when I understand.  It is a gracious gift if God gives understanding. My belief comes from submission and surrender, not comprehension. In my limited perspective and nearsighted vision, I must trust that God’s character is what He says it is: GOOD.  Faith stands regardless of understanding, because of His nature.  Reliance in His sound, trustworthy, proven nature is my foundation.

Christ’s work on the cross was the loudest statement of Love, Favor and Goodness.  It doesn’t mean that further evidence will not be given, but our faith must rest on this stated fact.  When I look for additional confirmations to validate His goodness before I will trust Him, I will fall.  Why?  Because of the anti-christ tendencies that reverberate in the stance of “prove it to me!”
