Revised 1/21/06

In the hysterical crisis of the world, in the utter despair of life situations, there is a GOD who must be acknowledged. Our fears, our hysterics in the middle of extreme crisis must lead us to the HIM who is our only hope. We must turn our faces to the LORD who has a right to allow devastation and the right to do as HE pleases amidst the crisis. HE is irrevocably GOD, despite our futile attempts to explain HIM away and excuse HIS actions as chance, happenstance, or bad luck. Regardless of our belief, HE is still GOD.

Nothing comes to this earth unless it is permitted by GOD. The freewill of man and God's sovereignty are not mutually exclusive to one another. In God's economy there is complete balance of the two issues under His Divine order without the question of His Lordship. If we believe one molecule in this world HE created is out of order, just one out of HIS control, then we might want to reevaluate who HE purports to be. We can attempt to maintain our delusions that life is a grouping of random acts of good and bad but this is not in line with the GOD we serve, as He reveals Himself in the scriptures.

Christ died at just the very moment our LORD elected and directed HIS life be taken. Jesus was wholely dedicated to the will of the Father, and as a result subject to and protected by it. Through HIS journey all the miracles and even the Satanic strife, all alike came through GOD to touch His Son. The foreknowledge of God, as well as the free will of man work in concert yet remain utterly under GOD. Nothing in creation can extend it's reach beyond God's grasp, and those committed to His will maintain an even greater protection. Can we allow freewill to flow at the same time as GOD is orchestrating every facet of life in a grand plan? Do we doubt HIS lordship because it fails to please us? Do we refuse to accept all of life as from HIM? Is only the "good" GOD?

The LORD is not afraid of our discomfort and pain. Can we not look to HIM in everything, with bowed head and humble heart? HE IS GOD! This globe does not revolve by chance. The LORD has sold all and bought this field for the precious treasure contained in its soil. CHRIST IN YOU is this treasure. CHRIST IN YOU is this valued commodity. But the external shell that we so stroke and comfort is not the treasure. It is not the valued pearl. Just as the rough shell is only the divers find but not the delight of his heart. The treasure within maintains the hold of his passion and excitement.

To this I say, "LORD, have mercy on us" if we refuse anything from YOUR hand that fails to fall in line with our proper judgment."

By saying this, I don't intend to cast a light upon HIM as malicious and evil. But I do maintain the firm belief that HE is our GOD, and HE is passionate to access the eternal treasure contained in our precious shell.

HE has the right to provoke our spirits and create anything that will free that treasure regardless if we approve. Judas' kiss was part of a sort of prying knife used to release CHRIST.

What circumstance has HE directed in our life to free CHRIST? What event or circumstance is He using that calls us to once again look to Him as the Author and Finisher of our faith? What life crisis or pressure beckons our dependence on HIM and cries for HIS Life to flow for the solution?

Sad but true that often a negative stimuli is the only force that calls humanity back. When things are well and blessed, our faces quite often turn from HIM and bask in the light of the gifts rather than the Giver. I say all this to express that HE is GOD, whether the news media agrees, whether our neighbor agrees, whether our spouse agrees. HE, the Creator is LORD. He doesn't need our bow to prove this point but the bending of our knee does make it easier on us.

What circumstance has HE directed in your life to free CHRIST?
