Heaven’s Rule: The Light of the World Has Come!
Heaven’s Rule: The Light of the World Has Come!
Author: Martha Kilpatrick

The giant universe reveals God and points to His Son . . . for Whose delight it was fashioned and in Whose holy hand it is held. The heavens preside. Heaven rules the day, the night, the hour, the year . . . the crops, the tides. And we live ever under the lines drawn by the heavens above us. For us. If not to God, at least to the "lights," we submit. In the Heavens, the Father utterly rules, issuing life-in-light, down to us.

The disciples were given a glimpse of their new life
by Christ's description of Himself as 'the light.'
It was a call to treasure this Light, believe and
depend on the Light so that when they were born
again, they would become sons of Light.

Walk while you have the Light,
(keep on living by it)
so that the darkness will not overtake
  and overcome you;
he who walks in the darkness
does not know where he goes
(he is drifting).
While you have the light, believe in the light,
(have faith in it, rely on it),
that you may become sons of the Light
     and be filled with Light.

John 12:35, 36 Amp. Bible

We are born again,
birthed INTO a life that is Actual Light.
We are "sons of light" by inheritance,
by the nature of the One who adopted and rebirthed us.

For you are all sons of light and sons of day.
        We do not belong either to the night or to darkness;

1 Thes. 5:5 Amp. Bible

We are sons and daughters of Light,
by new birth immersed into
a type of existence whose
nature and essence is . . . Light.
And darkness is to have no effect:
no foothold and no attraction for us.

We are to be like the Light that formed us
and transformed us.
We are to be lamps lit with His Light.

Light is accessible where Truth is desirable.
Light shines only out of purity and
purity is acquired by repentance over self,
and releases the Life within who is Light Himself.

A Life of Light is transparent in motive,
clear in purpose and filled with the Real.

The Father's ultimate goal is that His children
would live in the Light, by the Light and finally
be shining emblems of His Son's Light,
glowing with a power that is palpable and impacting.

Light is power.
It can ignite a fire, sterilize a wound,
destroy shadows and heal disease.
Light is answer to question and
direction to confusion.
Light is Christ present!

God-Light is the power
that must reverberate behind words.
The presence of Light enables people to see,
and it is Light alone that penetrates heart and mind.

Light is Truth and the power of Truth.
Remember? "I am the Light of the world."

And Christ in us is to shine upon the world
with fullness, light undiminished,
and no dark thing hidden.

The "deeds of darkness" - sins petted in secret and
kept from Light, eventually surface in shame.

He began saying to His disciples first of all,
"Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees,
which is hypocrisy.
But there is nothing covered up
that will not be revealed and hidden
that will not be known.
Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark
will be heard in the light and
what you have whispered in the inner rooms
will be proclaimed upon the housetops."

Luke 12:1-3 NASB

Hypocrisy is merely the pretending role that
Darkness plays to imitate the Light.

Jesus said "Walk in the Light . . ."
Walk: a lifestyle of Light, a constant search for Light.

As we come before the Blessed Light, bringing every sin,
from simple thought to crafty deed -
that sin is sterilized by holy fire.
Gazing on Him who glows across the universe,
and whose face is
"like the sun shining in its strength,"
the Light of His countenance burns sin to death
and the sin that defeated us is transformed
into easy strength over that very issue.

Keep nothing from Light . . . for Light is the solution.
Light gives purity by exposure
and brings you to transparency.
