When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life."
John 8:12

LIGHT SHINES

Light shines. Not in ignorance. Not in oblivion. It just shines unaffected and bright.

The focus of Light can never be darkness. Light that strives with darkness is not Light, it is plainly darkness. Though Light knows when the presence of darkness is there, it's preoccupation can never be with darkness.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:5

DARKNESS BECKONS

Darkness shrinks from Light but demands Light's company. Not that the Light might shine but so darkness may consume that Light and it's energy, yes for Light's participation in darkness. Through intimidation, pity or seduction darkness calls, beckons Light into the darkness and away from the Light. The choice must be clear. Darkness or Light. They don't mix. There is no love child with darkness, only the extinguishing of Light.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
John 3:19-20

LIGHT MUST NOT RESIST

To resist darkness is to receive darkness. To fight it is to fear it and believe in it's power. Light is a severing blade that parts darkness simply by being LIGHT. There is no resistance in this. Light IS - therefore darkness cannot. For to resist darkness you must focus on it and direct your energy toward it.

WORSHIP OF DARKNESS

Darkness gladly receives this as worship, and worship it is. The moment Light fixates its gaze upon darkness, it worships darkness. The vision is now split between your longing for Light and your worship of darkness, hence you leave Light. In order to focus on darkness you must leave Light. It is a choice. The moment your eye is cast from Light to darkness, your worship has shifted from Light to darkness. Even a momentary glance away from Light is a shifting of your allegiance and heart affection. You must know what captures your eye's devotion, for a feasting on darkness is co-habitating with darkness. If you know the direction of your focus moment by moment, a leaving of your Source requires only a simple choice to return back to Light.

"The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness."
Luke 11:34

GAZE ON LIGHT

Light has a single eye. If your eye be single, your whole body will be full of Light. Matt. 6:22 Inherently Light shatters darkness. It simply dispels it by being. Through Light's single eye darkness has to flee. By maintaining a gaze toward Light darkness is defeated. Though darkness will attempt all the more to distract Light, yet when Light connects with Light, darkness is dispelled.

DARKNESS IS DEFEATED

Darkness is conquered. There is no need to fight. To fight it is to empower its existence, giving it the energy it needs to exist. The True Light came into the world and swallowed darkness on the cross. Darkness is real no more if we refuse to validate it through entanglement.

Jesus said, "I have come as a Light into the world, so that whoever cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me may not continue to live in darkness."
John 12:46 Amplified
