The facts of God's gifts to us cannot be imagined.
His being, His grace, His plan are so outside
the thoughts of man that without His Word

His genius, His goodness or His gifts.
The Word connects us to divine realities and fuels the
faith that overcomes.
Without the Bible, we would have little idea of
who He is. Really is . . . .
Scripture must fill the channels of
the very hidden heart
as words held in affection, cherished as the
most precious and trustworthy truth.
The scriptures must be the constant banquet for the
mind's hunger to "know."
The Word of God must settle every dispute,
conquer every doubt until we are living
and speaking merely the Words of Truth.
Our testimony is then His testimony.
Our witness of Him is what He says Himself.
About Himself.
When His truth becomes our Truth, our
sayings will be His sayings.
Our words will resound with His sound
and the enemy of our soul will be rendered
powerless in his only means of attack: lies.
The Word combats the Lie and takes the fuse out of
its explosion on our soul.
The Word ignores the lie as so foolish as to
merit no attention and so futile as to
require no debate.
"they overcame him by the word . . . ."
The Logos, expression of eternal communication:
God's truth and principle pressed into the
form of human language that we might
know and speak the wonders of our God,
His victory and His worth.
