Genesis 1:4

His pleasure is in Light.

Genesis 1:4

Light divides . . . .
When Light invades any "formless" life, the

but . . . division.
When Light comes, separation is its fruit.
Creation was birthed through separation.
In fact, the foundation of creation was division.
Day ONE,
GOD SEPARATED THE LIGHT FROM THE DARKNESS
The next day He divided the waters above
from the waters below.
Third day, God commanded the waters to be separate
from the dry land.
Fourth day, He separated the DAY FROM THE NIGHT and put the sun and moon in the heavens. Why?
To separate the light from the darkness;
and GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD
. . . separation is good
Even Eve - in Day six- was separated out from Adam.
"SHE WAS TAKEN OUT OF ADAM."
The whole basis of creation was separation.
Everything God creates is built on separation
and formed by division
and fusion is only that which follows division.
Before life was brought forth,
there was division in the extreme.
Before animal life, before human life,
separation was the work of God.
We who do not understand the perfection of Light's essence,
nor its uncompromising demand . . .
we dread the rupture it brings.
We want Light but condemn God's work of separation.
Separation because of Light, is a "work" of God, ongoing . . . .
When Light comes division follows.
Light will not tolerate darkness.
They are two poles of opposite reaction
and naturally repel each other with violence.
God separated Light from Dark,
there has never been any connection since.
There is no gray in creation, - no mixture -
only light and . . . its utter opposite, dark.
We are ever trying to keep both.
When Eve ate of darkness and
fed it to Adam,
separation was the sudden . . .
and immediate result.
Separated from God
divided from each other,
cast from the Garden
and excluded from their destiny.
Darkness in their souls severed them
from the Light who walked with them in the breeze
of every morning.
Separated from Light, but snared in
the Dark confusion of blame and entanglement,
no longer in their splendor as separate entities.
Light divides. Darkness envelops.
Light divides and yields order
by its condemnation of the Dark.
Every great person of God was a separated person
and experienced wrenching division.
Their struggling stories are
long tales of separation.
Noah had to separate from all of evil mankind
and follow his strange orders of the Ark.
Abraham, called to separate from three allegiances:
his country, his relatives, his father's house.
His destined blessing was conditional on his
severe separation from ties to earth
and that Divine Promise did not appear until
separation had been achieved.
Gen. 12:1-3
Joseph, separated by cruelty from his land, his dear father,
his family . . . through that separation, because
of it, found his God, his destiny . . . his glory and
his personal vindication.
Joseph embraced the separation of his calling
and it gave him the Light of its purpose.
Moses, by the Light in the Bush, chose God's people
over his lifelong heritage of Egypt and from it
he separated.
Heb. 11:23-29
The Word of God in all its dynamic
is a separating power
wherever it is heard.
Jesus Himself experienced constant
separation and division . . . .
He promised that the effect of His presence
in the world would be - not peace -
but the Sword of Division to the
most basic and linked relationships:
intimate family ties.
Matt. 10:34
On and on, through the scriptures,
separation accompanies
the fresh move of God.
Peter and Andrew, meeting the Light, left their nets.
James and John separated from their father . . . .
Separation, the call of God: "Follow the Light."
Matt. 4:18-22
Light is separated from Darkness . . .
they have no peace nor relationship.
". . . (W)hat fellowship has light with darkness?"
2 Corinthians
Answer: NONE! Absolute and entire. None.
Those who tried to balance both,
ended - not in Light -
but in darkness doubled.
While darkness clings, Light withdraws for
it will not share with darkness.
When Light invades any "formless" life, the
result is division, not unity.
Division was a constant factor in the
New Testament Church,
a drastic measure against impurity.
I Cor. 5:6; II Thes. 3:6
The Word of Life is Light and is
divisive by its nature.
It exposes, it rejects
any closet of darkness.
The Word of Light still divides, ever separates.
God's mandate is to live by separation.
That is not negotiable.
To that end He sends the Fury of Light
through the Word of primal division.
It reaches from the pinnacle of the Throne
into the smallest speck of humanity
there to effect
PIERCING AS FAR AS THE DIVISION OF SOUL AND SPIRIT,
into the deepest being,
severing the innermost core of human life,
the JOINTS AND MARROW of a single heart.
With the Light-by-Word,
God lays bare the naked soul, its motives and secrets,
separating the lie from the truth.
Flesh from spirit and
sin from innocence.
Division - wrenching and tearing -
is the glorious evidence of Light deep in the soul.
Heb. 4:12, 13
Separating events in life are the proof, not the denial
of God's vital presence.
The first result of all God's
movement is division.
After Life enters,
comes Rejection of all that is NOT life.
Separation is still the foundation of Creation,
Order comes out of division . . . .
Life, from its first breath is a crisis
of division, a heaving of separation.
The child separated from the mother,
or they
will both die.
The believer is called to severe separation
from the world, from loves, even from self.
You are in your life but not of your life.
In the world but not of it . . . .
Light is radiation.
It penetrates everything and burns its truth
by exposure and then . . . severing.
The "new creation" is formed through separation,
Light from darkness, just as in Original Creation.
Darkness and evil are involvement.
All evil
is entanglement.
Enmeshment and involvement are the
demands of the religious spirit.
Spirituality is division,
the freedom to be, having opened the gate
of prison bondage to human chains.
Division brings God to His ruling place and
His Light grants utter freedom.
God's order is in the solitude of separation
where two are joined through Him but
not into each other.
God's continuing "new thing" always brings division,
and division alone brings in His pure order.
Light stands with Light
And darkness, with darkness . . . .
