Watchman Nee became a Christian in mainland China in 1920 at the age of seventeen and began writing in the same year.  Throughout the nearly thirty years  of his ministry, Watchman Nee was clearly manifested as a unique gift from the Lord to His Body for His move in this age.  In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith; he remained in prison until his death in 1972.  His words remain an abundant source of spiritual revelation and supply to Christians throughout the world.

Gleanings in the Fields of Boaz

So rich were the fields of Boaz that even the gleanings from them were more than sufficient for the livelihood of Ruth and her mother-in-law, Naomi (See Ruth 2). God gave such abundance of revelation and utterance to Watchman Nee that in his several decades of active ministry numerous messages were delivered by him, mostly in speaking and some in writing. Many of these precious messages have been translated and published in English either in books or booklets. Yet there were still sheaves left in the field waiting to be gleaned. There were too valuable to be lost. Hence, the compilation of the contents of this book.

The contents of the first part of the book have been gathered from the English notes of a beloved sister in Christ who is now with the Lord. She took down copious notes as she listened to the author during the years 1939-1940. Some of the messages from this ministry were already previously published in various books, but a number of them from this period were left untouched. These have now been grouped together in the present volume and edited further under the three general sub-titles "Live by the Life of God," "We Died in Christ," and "God's Building." The second part - entitled "Pulled-Out Sheaves" - is composed of two thus far unpublished articles (the second of which has never appeared even in Chinese) together with the author's last exhortations to his fellow-workers at the conclusion of the Second Kuling Training Session (1949) and at a later time around 1950 or 1951. These are priceless. The third part is devoted to a collection of a few of the many letters written by the author which taken as a whole reveal him in a most intimate way as having been a faithful and choice servant of the Lord. They are invaluable.

Into God's hand is now committed this book. May His richest blessing be upon all its readers.

      The Glory of His Life

"When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory" (Col 3:4). Where the life of Christ is, there is the manifestation of glory. Though the full manifestation is yet to come, we may enjoy the glory of His life even now.

In this volume, which is a selection of messages culled from many given by Watchman Nee throughout his long years of faithful ministry to the church, we are enabled to see some of the manifold aspects of the glory of the life of Christ in us. Part I shows us how the righteousness of God has been manifested towards all who believe through faith in Jesus Christ. Further, we are shown how Christ is made our righteousness, and how as a result we become the righteousness of God. Part II proceeds to disclose how Christ is made to be our wisdom - a wisdom which includes not only righteousness but also sanctification and redemption. While Part III concludes with an unveiling of the meaning of resurrection and the power of His resurrection.

This book is presented as a companion volume to the author's Practical Issues of This Life. As this life of ours has its many problems, so the life of Christ in us transcends and translates them into glory.

  • God's Plan and the Overcomers

    God's Plan and the Overcomers

    $3.50

    Brief Description

In this volume Watchman Nee presents the eternal plan of God - "to sum up all things in Christ that Christ might have the preeminence in all things" (Ephesians 1:10, Colossians 1:18). It is through the cooperation the overcomers give to God that Christ will realize God's plan.

Does God have a plan? If so, what is His plan? How will is be carried out? Are we involved in it? And is there any opposition? These are not mere speculative questions, for the right understanding of them is vital to our spiritual well being.

In this present volume Watchman Nee lays before us the eternal plan of God, which is, to sum up all things in Christ that Christ might have the preeminence in all things (Eph 1:10, Col 1:18). This plan is violently opposed by Satan who unjustly seeks that place for himself. Though temporarily the Adversary appears to succeed in frustrating God's plan, nevertheless at the appointed time God sends His own Son into the world to destroy all the works of the devil and to remove all obstacles to His plan. It is on the cross that Christ has accomplished the work of redemption, and He now calls His church to stand in His victory and work together with Him bringing all things under His feet. Yet due to the failure of the church, the responsibility falls upon the overcomers of the church. And through the cooperation which they give to Him, Christ will realize God's plan.

What the reader will now find in the pages to follow is a synopsis of a series of messages given by the author at a conference held in Shanghai, China in 1934. It was published in this outline form in the issues of the early years of Revival magazine. The original manuscript of the full test, which contained over 100,000 words, was destroyed during political upheavals in China - hence permanently lost. However, the message is so vital and relevant to our time that the synopsis is now being translated for the first time into English for the benefit of those in the English-speaking world who seek to know the mind of God and to walk before Him as overcomers.

  • God's Work

    God's Work

    $3.50

    Brief Description

Because most of today's "work" is for God, but not with God, Watchman Nee was compelled to tell what God's work really is, how it needs to come from revelation and be answered by total surrender. He explains the basic ministries of prophets and priest and concludes with a warning of iniquity within our ministry.

God has His work. And this work is not your work or mine, nor the work of this mission or that group. It is God's own work. The church is called to be a co-worker with God. But can we labor with God if we are still ignorant of what His work is? Many today work for God, but who are working with God?

In this volume brother Watchman Nee helps us to see what God's work is, how it must come from revelation and be answered with absolute surrender, what builds up the body of Christ most, and whereby we can minister in life. He also explains the basic ministries of the prophets and the priests in the work of God. And finally, he concludes with a note of warning against committing the iniquity of the sanctuary - which is, the iniquity of our ministry.

The messages contained in this little volume are vital to all who desire to work together with God.
