    Brief Description

The story of Elijah is the story of Jezebel and the saga of Ahab.
Elijah's long fought war, and his spectacular rapture . . .
both hinged on his victory over evil,
a triumph that had to be personal before it could be national.

This writing overflows with piercing secrets of the vicious battle,
going on to this day and culminates with the blazing chariot of heaven,
a signal of God's ultimate triumph: the future Rapture of the Church.

      Love and Hate

The universe is not about right versus wrong,
          nor even good and evil.

      The meaning of the universe,
the purpose of the whole creation,
                   is Love.
And the assault of its opposition: Hate.

Love and hate are not feelings. Not philosophies.
      Love and hate
are two spiritual beings in the universe.
                    They are actually God, Who is LOVE;
                           and Satan, who is Hate.

Hate came into Eden and suggested that LOVE did not love.
And those pure two who lived within the caress of LOVE,
          began to lose--through Hate--LOVE's covering.
And they were made naked and ashamed.

          They entered Hate by
          receiving its thoughts
          of contempt for LOVE.

Now the lowly clay is born knowing how to Hate the Potter,
just because He is the Potter.
From childhood wounds, by adult disappointments,
bitterness with God festers and multiplies
by streams of Hate's unforgiving thoughts until
the flood rises and the soul is
drowned under hatred of God. . .

      Then amazingly, the hate-filled-person rises
                  to "serve" Him he hates!
"Those who hate the Lord would pretend obedience to Him."
                                                                         Psalm 81:15

The person who becomes entangled with jezebel-evil
is a person who harbors in secret. . .
an underlying and excessive hatred for God.
And . . . the motive to murder Him.

Jezebel-captives are God-haters who want to control
              what God failed to manage,
to pay back what He would not avenge.
And whose fury at the world is sure evidence
of rage with God for personal wrongs and pains.

Sinners did not kill God on the cross.
It was the religious sons of hell,
                   the God-haters, who devised it.
Liars who forgot they hate God.
Impostors who kill Him while hailing His name.

Whether the religion is atheism or Christianity,
          or all in between,
          jezebel-servers run as religious zealots
to the places where they can best get at God,
to wreck and ravage His sheep.
And that is usually right in the middle of
                       the church.

The prime target of jezebel-killers are the
succulent lambs who love LOVE. . .

      Review from L.H.

      Cebu, PHL

Let me just say briefly that I have never read a more helpful or instructive book on this vital subject of spiritual warfare: identifying the enemy and how to deal with it/he/she/satan. On this mission field here in Cebu, Philippines, I and my wife and local church and staff have had to confront and deal with the Jezebel/Ahab. Principality on MANY occasions. It is often a subtle and very vicious demonic stronghold: the very essence of rebellion, witchcraft, and usurping-power-obesession. It is absolutely CRUCIAL that Christians learn how to discern and confront and deal with the major satanic onslaught. [FIRST in themselves; then in others who fall victim to it] I know of no better instruction and warfare manuel than this excellent book by our dear sister Martha Kilpatrick. I pray it is distributed and read worldwide in the Body of Christ. God bless and Shalom.

Review from Sid Roth of the Messianic Vision

      New Brunswick, GA USA

"There is something in [Martha's] book [Chariot of Fire] that jumped out at me and I believe it is a 'now' word for intercessors today..." "I am convinced God has put [Martha's] thumb on the pulse of a key that is stopping intimacy [with God] for most Christians. I urge you to get her book, "Chariot of Fire." "Martha's book gives us insights into the spirit realm that's stopping us from having intimacy with God, fulfilling our destiny and [as Martha says] causes the devil to write the last chapter of our lives." Sid Roth from the Messianic Vision

      Review from J.E.

      Orlando, FL USA

I have read the book "The Three Battlegrounds", by Frangipanes and really gained a revelation about Jezebel and her deeds but this book takes it to a new place. Not only did I get an eye popping view of Jezebel and Ahab as I have never seen before but also the incredible victory of Christ as seen through the story. I feel this book is a preparatory book for the Bride of Christ as Revelation shows we must overcome tolerating Jezebel in our life. May I go out like Elijah in a Chariot of Fire.

      Review from T.J.

      Milford, CT USA

I have been looking for a book like Chariot of Fire for quite a while. This book so clearly has shown me the possibility of freedom from Jezebel evil. I have seen the abuse in fellow religious leaders and cashed it in as simple temperament issues but now I realize it has sometimes not been that but the Jezebel Ahab spirits. And fortunately I have seen the doorway I have opened in my own life. I have battled in spiritual warfare but wondered what gave the Jezebel Ahab principality room and not understood the blindness I had, I just felt the effects. Martha has not given a list of how to's but writes where the Spirit of God has been able to really speak where once there was darkness. I am now seeing the victory of Christ in this arena in my life and am really experiencing the overcoming life. Chariot of Fire is AWESOME!

      Review from Leonardo Lenben

      Cebu, PHL

This book should be much more widely circulated among pastors, prayer-warriors, and those in the much neede deliverance ministry. Martha Kilpatrick gives many insights into understanding the witchcraft and manipulation and controlling spirits which revolve around the principality of Jezebel/Ahab, - a demonic stronghold in the lives of many people which bring them (and often others) into bondage to relationship-destroying areas of domination and desire to control others and ministry that is not under proper headship and eldership: both in the home and in the local church. I highly recommend this excellent book to those who want to know more about how to identify this satanic-stronghold, ... and (even more important) how to counter it and bring deliverance to those who are deceived by the spirit of JezebeLilith. Review from John Matthews

The brief extract I read sounded uncannily true. Beware wolves in sheep's clothing.

      Review from Georgia R. Lawson

      TN USA

'Chariot of Fire' is an extraordinary book, written by a truly Holy Spirit~inspired wordsmith. This is a book to be read out loud and shared... or as I did, to read it aloud in quiet solitude with tears flowing freely. This is more than a book, it is a spiritual experience.... the account of Elijah, Jezebel and Ahab is not only a fascinating Biblical record, but much prophecy is contained in and foretold in the deeper mysteries hidden in the Word of God. If you are a student of Elijah, or spiritual warfare and the Jezebel spirit, then this is fascinating stuff. Bravo for Martha Kilpatrick, will be buying more by her. A truly rare thing to be able to say about any author. Get this one and keep it next to your Bible.

Mary of Bethany - The untold story

    By: Martha Kilpatrick

    $9.95

    Brief Description

Mary of Bethany stands alone in the Gospels.
She was the friend of Jesus, sharer of His secrets.
    She abides . . . uninhibited and limitless . . .
an eternal emblem of ADORATION of Jesus.

ADORATION is a profound gaze at the very
    human story of two sisters,
their contrast full of stark meaning.
"Mary and Martha, symbols of choice . . .
between what gains God against what loses Him."

Mary of Bethany received from Jesus
what no other player in the Redemption Story received:
His never-ending command that where the gospel is preached
the story of her alabaster jar is to be told.

This book proclaims her memorial place with
    extraordinary insight and reverence,
laced with the goal of following this quiet one
who was the delight of Jesus
    into our own . . . ADORATION.

      Broken Vessels

      ". . a woman came having an alabaster flask. . .
Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head."

      Mark 14:3 NKJ

Saving nothing, holding back no part,
                 Mary broke the alabaster jar,
itself a treasure, spoiled for any
                           future use.
It was for Jesus, no other use
would it ever see. All for Him.

Mary broke her beautiful jar, but that
               was nothing for she
took her own being, heart and soul
and broke it before Him for His use.

Her gift merely a picture of her life,
                 opened by the brutal choice
                 of self annihilation,
her own secret death for Him
                         to Jesus, her Love,
                         her Only Love.

Mary acted out before Him His own crucifixion.
The bottle shattered - His broken body.
The contents poured out - His Holy blood spilled.
She understood and she showed Him . . .

It was about His death but
it was also her own death to lose him.
She was ministering to Him but
she was also consenting to say goodbye
to her Greatest Necessity because that
                                            was His will. . .and desire. . . .

She would support His choice at
the expense of her own needy existence.

No more would she sit at His feet and
                                   hear His heart's secrets.
Never again see His glowing face, nor hear His
loving words, not to ever, ever again feel
                                     His piercing touch.
He was going to the Father, by deliberate choice
and that meant as well, leaving her behind.

To let Him go would have been a great sacrifice
but to help Him in it, to sustain His going. . .
ah, that was the truly broken vessel.

                                     Compared to this,
                                     the alabaster jar was nothing....

      Excerpts from the book:

      Many Things

      Martha's life was multiple,
dispersed in the fever of many attractions,
      confused by many self-loves
Mary's life was simple, honed and distilled to
the sole thing she deemed essential,
her object of love, One other than. . .herself.

      Known

In His boundless imagination, He dreamed your being and
created you to a divine specific. The Designer knows His design.
He also knows how far your meddling has marred the original.
      Love with out favorites

The love of Christ is indiscriminate. He loves all.
      Jesus loved Martha.
His correction didn't diminish nor disprove that.
His love is total for every person.
      He loves because He loves.

      A Simple Love

      Mary loved Him.
That is the entire explanation of her.
Many witnessed, heard, were healed by Him. . .but never loved Him
Myriads study, read, recite and mimic Him today. . .but never love Him

      Judas

      There are probably only two ministries in the universe;
anointing His feet or arranging His murder.
Judas watched the anointing and it stirred his jealous hate.
Something he had long toyed with in his mind was now a bold decision. . .
to sell Jesus to His murders.

      A Single Eye

Mary gathered the fragments of her scattered sanity,
left the complexity of logic, the endless boredom of her predictable self
and in simplicity, with single focus gazed on Jesus.

      Review from J.E.

      Orlando, FL USA

I have been so completely impacted by this book. My heart has sought the Lord, yet I have yearned to love Him more. Adoration has touched my very passion for Jesus, and called me higher, to a place of surrender and focus. In a world that demands fast paced activity to meet deadline and standard. And/or to please ones self or others, a simple life and our true Reward get lost. Martha writes in this book about Mary of Bethany and all those around her, but more than that she writes in a style that causes the heart to meditate on the very Jesus Mary focused upon. A book for everyone, men as well as women. I recommend it very highly, for all who would love Him or love Him more.

      Review from

      Cinncinati, OH USA

"This book has helped lead me back to my First Love.... "Adoration" has been a balm to my broken, wounded, grieving and very weary heart. I savored it and soaked in it-a refuge from life's pain and demands. From the first night of reading it, my spirit began to rise up once again."

      Review from D.F.

      Paris, FRA

"At 7:00 this morning when I woke up, I stayed in bed and started reading what I believe to be a MASTERPIECE (understatement of the century here), your book Adoraion. Some books you look at and put back on the shelf. Some books you read with interest. Some books seize you and speak to you. Some possess you and you read them through a veil of tears... ADORATION BROUGHT SOBS."

      Review from C.S.

      Atlanta, GA USA

"I sent a copy of Adoration to a friend... she met me at the door so excited about what the Lord was speaking into her life. She said, "I'm learning to receive Love!"

      Review from Patsy Clairmont

      Brighton, MO USA

Book Review by Patsy Clairmont Have you ever read a book that took your breath a way with the freshness of its perspective? That's how I responded to Adoration by Martha Kilpatrick. It is an astonishing portrayal of Mary of Bethany. Just about the time I think I've heard it all, the Lord uses someone to resuscitate my lagging insight. I've always believed that Mary choose the better part when she deliberately sat at Jesus feet, yet I also credited Martha with a productive contribution, but after considering Mrs. Kilpatrick's musings I realized I missed the point. Listen "To make a noisy display of your labors is to perform for the audience of humanity." Ouch! Mary's sister Martha did thatand so have I. More times than I care to mention I have tooted my own horn or whined about others lack of appreciation of my efforts. "Work is a sorry god whose reward is strangely empty. It never pays the wage of love that is anticipated." How true that is like pulling up a bucket from a dry well. "Flesh is Martha's vain delusion-Spirit is Mary's instinctive reality In God's family, Flesh become workers and Spirit are worshippers." This is a small volume with powerful content. I find myself returning to it again and again to meditate upon this Spirit revealed writing. If you are looking for a meaty offering or want a study that's worthy of group discussion this 133-page treasure will fill your hours and more important your heart with heaven's counsel.

      Review from J.M.

      Phoenix, AZ USA

Martha's book, Adoration, made me so much want to worship Jesus as Mary of Bethany did! It awakened a hunger in me that is still as fresh as when I read the book. Ps. 103:4 & 5 He surrounds me with lovingkindness and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things.

      Review from M.D.

      Middletown, MD USA

I can't begin to explain how much these items have changed my life. The book, the book. I am weeping trying to put into words how much the words in this book and the anointing in each word ministered to me. I wept through it and couldn't stop reading it. It was exactly what I needed when I read it. It was God ordained for me because I was wanting so much to get to that place where Mary was and Adoration just laid it out so clearly and simply. It's all about Him; worshipping Him, loving Him,wanting Him and adoring Him. God wrote this book and there's no doubt about it. Thank you thank you Martha Kilpatrick for your devotion and for sharing His gift with us. I will be eternally grateful to you for this gift. I gave a copy to my Pastor who is reading it. I am going to buy more to give away.

      Review from L.M.

      Roseville, CA USA

Today a friend allowed me to take a look at her copy of this book while resting in the warm sun. What began to be a quick glance became a time to read the book from cover to cover. The Lord blessed me with this quiet time with no interruptions. As I was reading my heart beat IDENTIFIED with the author's. Martha has articulated my hearts cry. My prayer is that leaders/and the body would identify rather than "defy" those who choose to sit at His feet above all else. This has been a truth that I have painfully experienced personally. But on the flip side, being misunderstood in this way has also showed me I have chosen the better. Many times there has been much fruit beared as the fragrance of His presence has caused people to stop and ask me "What is that you are wearing and where can I find it?"

      JOSEPH

      There aren't many Josephs.
      We would rather pet our
      bitterness than wear a crown.

And that is precisly the choice. . .

It's funny: the one man who seeks no "whys"

                               knows....eventually...the answer to the

questions he needed not to ask.

And only that kind of man ever finds out.

Joseph, that magnificent hero, became such

                     because he pushed past

the obsession with 'why' and dealt instead with 'how'.

                                                 How can I please God?

                                                 How can I serve God?

If ever a man had the hostile right to ask 'why'

                    wouldn't it have been Joseph?

                                              A favored son.

                                              A faithful son.

      Clean. . .

                                 malleable yet strong

                                 enough to report the wrongs

of his brothers . . . when asked to.

      Cruelly rejected

                               for his God-originated dream

                               and for his sterling character.

We hear no railing screech of "Why, God?"

A simple setting to the task at hand.

The question of Joseph: "What is your will here?"

              The human question is "why?'

"Give me all Your reasons and then, maybe then I will

                               follow You."

               The legitimate question,

the one that can be known is "what?"

God's "what" is "Do the task at hand. Live the life you find."

                        And Joseph did it.

Only to suffer again, not from sin but

                         because he wouldn't sin!

We would have screeched, "What good is it?

God is not fair and there is no justice!"

                                  Oh, but . . . I AM.

In the hell-hole where any reasonable man gives up

      because

his 'why' saps all his innards,

the caged Joseph asked again. . . "what?'

                                  "What is Your will?

                                   What is my task?"

"Do the task at hand.  Live the life in which you are trapped.

Do it well in the faith that I have a Divine Aim."

                  And Joseph did.

                  Even there.

The question is not "why" but "what" and

through the devoted acceptance of what God wants,

the "why" of His purpose emerges.

In some off-the-record unveiling to his heart, Joseph came

      to see

                    God's unimaginable but brilliant purpose.

We know the end of the story.  Joseph didn't.

For him it had been a blank mystery,

a puzzle he couldn't have solved.

It was God's secret.  Only He could reveal it.

                                               And He did.

"God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant

on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance."

                  Genesis 45:7

                 He knew.  Joseph knew why.

It was a purpose so great, so heroic,

he was willing to have suffered for its fulfillment.

Trauma creates a dilemma with God, not only with life.

It throws His character into dispute,

His power into doubt, His love into question.

Suffering twists our view of God so He seems

                                  both small and inept.

      Suffering doesn't need explanation.

The experience of it calls for healing not reason because

                    suffering splits you in two,

creates a breach between you and

                                 your own existence.

The rigid stance you take against your personal pain

                                 straining to erase your event,

and not to include it in your present,

                                 makes you your own murderer.

For your suffering has a life of its own, full of unborn ideas,

                   pulsing with mystery,

rich with potential to solve your future suffering,

and - most amazing - your past as well.

Your suffering holds the secrets to your appointed lot and is

therefore the hiding place of your power.

You must value your suffering enough to

coax its treasure into your using.

      In the end

                  Joseph found out why.

He'd been in school, the making of a ruler, whose

                               power saved many lives.

The 'why' unmasks itself only to the faithful.

For Joseph, I AM had been enough.

                       God could have. God didn't.

                                       So God had good reason.

Most men never make it to the end. . . to see.

Their furious 'whys' have gnawed their mammoth potential

                      down to a tiny bitter nub of ineffectiveness . . . .

                                                 long before the end.

      Excerpts from the book: abraham

      A man must be called.

He doesn't choose his place in God's chronicles

      Nor the timing of it.

(Abraham) was elected to a place, a time and a

      particular demonstration of God.

      And so are you.

      esther

History lies not in fists of forceful kings but in

the imploring hands of one who prays.

History belongs to God and He can change its

entire course on the effect of one small life.

      david

A man reserves his worship for what possesses

highest supremacy. Nobility doesn't enter into it.

It is raw power that captures us and

      makes us subjects.

      daniel

Daniel was to be made a servant.

That was God's idea and Daniel got in touch with

it and agreed. By the long tests of serving, he was

groomed to be a ruler with vast power over the

      very ones who captured Him.

      Review from J.E.

      Atlanta, GA USA

I have been amazed as the Biblical characters described in this book, have had the secret marrow of their lives broken open for my edification. I have walked with them in a new light. To see them express the same feelings and emotions residing in me, and teach me the pitfalls and rewards. It has caused me to focus on my hidden motives and secret thoughts. This book is fresh. Allowing the distance to be bridged, which is sometimes between a character on the page and my living relevance.

I know that I can't express what I felt upon reading "All & Only." It was a wondrous, almost magical feeling: "Oh... so that's it. That explains everything." It's so simple and yet so profound. Honestly, I stand in awe of our God -

Your books, here in the Pacific Northwest, are one of the best kept secrets....as I soon discovered.

      Review from

      Dickinson, TX USA

At first glance, this book appeared "fluffed," (not many words per page) and I was afraid I hadn't gotten my money's worth. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH. She says more in a couple of hundred words per Bible character than most of the sermons I have heard on them, all put together. She proves to us from these great Bible stories WHO GOD IS, and gives us that Mighty Rock to stand upon as the foundation and structure of our faith, rather than the common contemporary way: shouting at the devil and circumstances in order to change anything we don't happen to like. If you hunger as I do to get back to the REAL kind of faith that produced men like Daniel, Job, and David, please, please get this book. Finally!! - REAL FOOD.

This is a book for the heart and for your devotional time. Read it with a deep sense of humility and soar closer to The Master of all masters: The Lord Jesus Christ, - The King and LORD of Wisdom and Love!
